  My two dogs have stayed on many occasions and have always come back happy and healthy. Have always found the staff and owners very friendly and professional. I wouldn’t leave my dogs anywhere else.

  Great staff with a professional approach, happy to help with any questions and provide support when needed. I bought a lovely Cockapoo from Nutshaw at the end of last year - he is a happy, well mannered and greatly loved addition to our family. Thanks Nutshaw Kennels.

  It is a well know fact that Nutshaw sell pups that have been bred in commercial breeding farms, even the owner readily admits to this. Yes, these puppy farms are licensed by their local Council's, but licensing laws are in accordance with the 'breeding and sale of dogs act 1999', which has very little regard to animal welfare. Under licensing laws it is acceptable from a breeding dog to never leave it's enclosure, never be exercised outside, never see natural daylight, or even be allowed any interaction with other dogs. The licensing laws do not require that the dogs have any social interaction with humans, no playtime, no toys...not even a comfy bed to lie in! Also, the laws do not require that the dogs are health tested for any hereditary conditions or defects, that can be passed on to their pups! It is perfectly legal for a licensed breeder to subject dogs to this un-natural and miserable existence, all their breeding lives, and the majority do, the dogs are cash machines, nothing more. ''Licensed'' has nothing to do with welfare and this is why these breeding farms do not sell directly to the public! This is why they sell the pups to dealer's like Nutshaw, so that you never see the awful truth. Anyone who chooses to buy a puppy from a dealer, is supporting the miserable existence of these commercial breeding dogs... what a heartless and utterly selfish thing to do.
